Commercial Lines Account Manager
Location

Compensation
$60,000 – $85,000+ depending on experience level
Position Overview
We are seeking a qualified, self-motivated individual to serve as the day-to-day liaison between insurance companies, agents, and clients. This role handles inside service work associated with commercial accounts including coverage issues, endorsements, renewals, policy checking, binding, and marketing support.
Key Responsibilities
- Build and maintain strong client relationships.
- Process and record new insurance policies and claims.
- Maintain client files in the Agency Management System for all transactions.
- Correspond with insureds and agents regarding account status and changes.
- Prepare proposals and applications and follow up for timely responses.
- Provide technical service and expertise during new business and renewal processes.
- Assist with quoting, marketing, and gathering underwriting information.
- Prepare renewal and new business proposals and presentations.
- Bind coverage, issue certificates, and request endorsements.
- Analyze policies for accuracy based on presented proposals.
- Follow agency procedures and utilize integrated software systems.
- Collaborate with Senior Account Executives on complex accounts.
Qualifications
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Highly organized and detail-oriented.
- Ability to manage multiple tasks independently.
- Comfortable working in agency management and insurance systems.
- Prior administrative or insurance experience preferred.
- Must obtain Property & Casualty License (current license preferred).
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.

Position Overview
We are seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Commercial Lines Account Assistant to support our Commercial Lines Account Managers in policy administration and customer service. This role is ideal for a professional who thrives in a fast-paced office environment and is eager to grow within the insurance industry.
Key Responsibilities
- Assist with policy administration including policy checking, updates, and renewal reviews.
- Prepare and send customer notifications regarding policy changes and renewals.
- Process certificates of insurance promptly.
- Handle small bonds and simple account management tasks.
- Assist with claim submissions and follow-ups.
- Provide marketing and documentation support.
- Support Account Managers with administrative duties.
Knowledge, Skills & Abilities
- In-depth knowledge of commercial insurance coverages.
- Ability to clearly communicate with clients and underwriters.
- Strong problem-solving and decision-making skills.

- Experience interacting with agency software platforms.
Qualifications

Position Overview
We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented insurance professional to support the marketing and placement of commercial lines insurance. This position plays a key role in securing new business and retaining renewal business by preparing submissions, marketing accounts, analyzing coverage options, and supporting producers and account executives.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop marketing strategies for new and renewal business.
- Prepare and submit accurate carrier submissions.
- Quote coverage using carrier tools and underwriter submissions.
- Analyze quotes, pricing, terms, and negotiate as needed.
- Prepare marketing summaries and track placement activity.
- Build strong relationships with carriers and internal teams.
- Assist in preparing client proposals and presentations.
- Document all activity in the agency management system.
- Stay current on industry trends and underwriting guidelines.
- Ensure compliance with company procedures and regulatory requirements.
Knowledge, Skills & Abilities
- 3–5 years commercial P&C insurance experience.
- Strong knowledge of property, casualty, GL, workers compensation, and related lines.
- Experience with AMS360, InsuredMine, or similar systems.
- Strong analytical and negotiation skills.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Word and Excel.
- Sales-driven and solution-oriented mindset.
Education & Licensing
- Bachelor’s degree in insurance, business, or related field or equivalent industry experience.
- Active Property & Casualty Insurance License required.
